I'm still working on my stock market strategy to see if I can beat out expert investors. This year I built an investment portfolio and began to populate it with new stocks to see if I can formulate a strong strategy. So far I have realized 65.81% return this year.
While the general portfolio did rise I can say that it was pushed by a couple of strong performers. However, it is not as stable as I would like it to be and so I want to ensure that I'm hedging against various market swings and cycles.
A few things I learned so far that seem to be working for me (You make your own decisions.)....
-Smaller multiple investments to diversify the portfolio.
-Industries that are expected to grow.
-Review analysts recommendations but review the company fundamentals before selecting.
-Look for market trends and determine how that is going to impact.
-Think suppliers.
There are more things I look at but those are some basics. Do not take this as advice...that is between you and your broker. I'm just saying what I'm doing. I have no broker and more likely to be broke than rich. 😂😵 (I'm not part of the connected class.😠)

Personally I'm not a big money guy. I think people should do good things with it and real wealth is in health, knowledge, friends and purpose. Money just makes things easier. I'm also not a stock broker and am just writing for the heck of it! No idea if it will continue....
