Because we are a species that draws knowledge from generation to generation some of our ancient philosophers can teach us much about the world in which we live. As we move into the new year let us spend a moment thinking about how we handle challenges in work and life. Think about your direction, problems, goals and solutions. How you handle life and work challenges defines you as a person.
I have never seen a problem that can't be solved, and if not solved at least understood, and even if not understood at least realized, and surely if not realized then at least not worried about. In other words, go out and meet your challenges or not worry about them-wisdom lets you know which.
Thucydides stated –
The bravest are surely those who have the
clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet
notwithstanding, go out to meet it.
