Flame throwers dazzled the sidewalk crowd as the bright colors
of the lighted gallery drove them through the doors. Irina Negulescu opened her new gallery at 2360
India Street in San Diego this weekend.
She uses dark reds, blues and grays to make masterpieces that are themes
as enchantment oriented. She has a number of genres that include underwater,
children, reds, blues and other subjects art lovers are interested in.
Her work has been featured on the cover of Arts & Fashion
Magazine celebrating her mastery of movement. She has a local following
that takes an interest in her work and sometimes host in their restaurants. Patrons browse the gallery and seek out those
colors that best match the décor of their living quarters.
The work she produces is nothing short of fantastical with
its graceful lines, bright colors and mystical impressions. Innocence mixed
with natural beauty in timeless motion. The activity of the subjects draws you
into the canvass to help you realize that these paintings are not a snap shot
in time but a snap shot of a period of time. It may only be a few moments but the
impressions will last a lifetime.
